Filled me with Your light and with Your love.

Now I stand as Your living miracle, Lord,

A witness of Your endless compassion.

When the pain became my normal

And my mind became a cage,

You sent Your Holy Spirit

Through the friends You chose to send.

When I tried to flee from people,

You taught me how to forgive,

And You shattered every chain

That once kept me from living.

You pulled me out from the bottom of the pit,

You breathed life in me again.

You lifted up the fallen, healed the wounded,

Filled me with Your light and with Your love.

Now I stand as Your living miracle, Lord,

A witness of Your endless compassion.

I saw You part the waters

When all I saw was pain,

Your glory came upon me

And made me whole again.

You pulled me out from the bottom of the pit,

You breathed life in me again!

Your breath revived my weary lungs,

Your grace made me rise again.

From lost and broken to loved and chosen,

From darkness into Your promised land!

I will sing forevermore…

You pulled me from the pit

And carried me into life.

Glory to the Lamb who saved me.

Glory to the God who never let me go.
